The atlas *Cable Tray Installation (04D701-3)* was published by the China Institute of Building Standard Design & Research on March 1, 2004. It applies to the installation of cable trays in various settings, including indoor and outdoor overhead locations, cable trenches, cable tunnels, and cable shafts.
The atlas primarily covers the installation of cable trays along walls, columns, and floor slabs; the installation of vertical riser/drop assemblies; shared-support installations alongside other piping; independent installations; installations spanning roadways; installations on steel structures; and the installation of boltless flexible-connection cable trays.
This standard has been withdrawn (effective August 1, 2022) and superseded by the atlas *22D701-3*.
